What about My Medications?

Chiropractic uses no Medications or Surgery. Chiropractic does not interfere with medications. Only a few medications may interfere with chiropractic, none of them with Network chiropractic.

Everyone has a choice

Weather or not you choose to take medications is ultimately up to you. You should consult a physician to find out exactly what the effects (wanted and unwanted) of any medication will be. Ask about the RISKS of medications BEFORE deciding to take them. Many medications are Dangerous and many people die each year with properly prescribed pills. You must tell your chiropractor what medications you are taking.

Many Medicines Treat Only the Pain.

Pain killers work by blocking the bodies ability to perceive pain. This is like taking out the lights on your dashboard of your car. You feel less pain but are unsure of what is going on in your body. You may be lulled into a false sense of security and unwittinly over reach your capabilites and injure yourself more.

Talk to your Doctor

PLEASE DO NOT STOP OR CHANGE YOUR MEDICATION WITHOUT TAKING PROPER ADVICE. Many symptoms and conditions will improve when subluxations are removed from the spine. I suggest that you talk to your doctor because your need for medication will change as your body heals.

All the help you can get...

When you are seriously ill you will need all the help you can get. Chiropractic care will not interfere negatively with the action of any medications that you are taking. It may well help your body to utilise medications better.

Trust your Body...

Many people find that their innate trust of their bodies ability to heal itself improves with chiropractic. When you vomit after 10 pints of beer you know your body is working properly and would not be so tempted to take anti-vomit pills. That same confidence in your body (albeit uncomfortable) will help your healing.
