The core of the ANC philosophy is an understanding of the relationship between change in the spinal system's mechanical tension or "tone" and change in the individual's quality of life and life expression. Although the members of the ANC may utilize diverse methodologies they share an understanding of this essential relationship and embrace approaches compatible with those described in Dr Epstein's The 12 stages of Healing. Network Spinal analysis is a new and evolving systems approach utilized by many ANC members in order to detect where, when and how an adjustment might be best applied. NSA employs the Network Protocol - a time sequenced system of evaluating and adjusting the spine. This integrated method helps free the nervous system from mechanical interference and enhances the body's inherent capacity to express its vital force. Members of the ANC embrace a vitalistic approach which honours the body's natural cues and respects its innate wisdom for self healing. |

The ANC recently became the first chiropractic organization to fund a major independent research program on the relationship of vertebral subluxation care and quality of life. This research has resulted in the development of NSA a clinical system with a defined set of priorities and outcome assessments. Our organization is committed to further explorations of the relationship between spinal health and quality of life . By supporting related research, publication education and conversation, we hope to increase awareness of this vital connection. |
